If you plan to join us at Ball State, please confirm your enrollment by the priority deadlines below:

  • Fall – May. 1
  • Spring – Dec. 1
  • Summer – April 1

You’ll need activate your Ball State username and password. You will use this information to access your Applicant Status Portal, where you will submit additional materials, confirm your enrollment, and more, and your MyBSU account, which you will use for important university business, such as accepting financial aid, signing up for housing, registering and classes, and paying fees.

To set up your username and password:

  • Locate the email from the Technology HelpDesk you received after you applied to Ball State and follow the instructions provided.
  • If you cannot locate this email, contact the Technology HelpDesk. (The HelpDesk can also help with username and password problems or you may learn more online.)

Once you’ve set up your Ball State account, you will need to log in to confirm your enrollment.

  • Log into your Applicant Status Portal
  • Fill out the Enrollment Confirmation Form under the "Forms" section of your portal

Also, you will need to pay a $100 nonrefundable enrollment deposit, which the university will apply to your first-semester fees.
